Property managers, general contractors and commercial landlords need different things from a flooring contractor. They need WSIB clearance, insurance certificates, a firm schedule and a crew that can work around tenants.

After more than 1500 jobs, very little surprises us. We have seen diagonal plank subfloors under 1950s carpet, heaving basement slabs and tile that cracked because the joists below were too springy.
That experience means we catch problems at the quote stage, not halfway through your install. It is also why our quotes rarely change once work starts.
We carry commercial general liability insurance and active WSIB coverage for every person on site. If a worker is hurt on your property, WSIB covers it, not you. We can provide a certificate of insurance and a WSIB clearance certificate before any job begins.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the day we finish. That covers installation faults such as seams opening, boards lifting, hollow-sounding tile and loose transitions.
It does not cover product defects, which fall under the manufacturer's warranty, or damage from floods, leaks, pets or indoor humidity kept outside the manufacturer's range. The full terms are printed on every quote.
We install every floor on this page, but hardwood and tile are where we are strongest. Both punish shortcuts. Hardwood gaps and cups when moisture is ignored, and tile cracks when the substrate flexes.
A general handyman can lay a floating floor. Getting a nail-down oak floor or a large-format porcelain floor right takes a specialist.
Our process
We come to you, measure every room and look at what is under the current floor. You get a written, itemised quote with no deposit required to receive it.
We check the subfloor for flatness, moisture and movement before a single box is ordered. If it needs work, the cost is on the quote, not a surprise on install day.
Our crew removes the old floor, preps the subfloor and installs the new one. Transitions, baseboard or shoe moulding and door clearances are finished before we call it done.
We haul away old flooring and packaging and vacuum the work area. Then we walk the floor with you, room by room, before we leave.
Service area
We are based in Guelph and cover anywhere within about a 30-minute drive, with the same crew and the same warranty. That includes Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton, Halton Hills, Rockwood, Elora, Puslinch and Woolwich.

Either works. We can source the material for you, or install flooring you bought elsewhere. If you buy your own, send us the product name first so we can confirm it suits the room and subfloor.
A 1000 square foot floating vinyl or laminate floor usually takes two to three days. Nail-down hardwood takes three to five days after acclimation, and tile takes longer because thinset and grout need to cure. Your quote includes a day-by-day schedule.
